Dr. Lindsay Schliesman is proud to be a Mountaineer and loves teaching 5th grade! This is her 2nd year at Monte Sano, but she has worked for Huntsville City Schools for the past 13 years. Originally from Huntsville, she earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and graduate degrees at Alabama A&M University, ultimately earning a PhD in Reading and Literacy in 2018. In her free time, Dr. Schliesman enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.

Dr. Schliesman has worked in several different schools throughout Huntsville City and has served in multiple roles including Second and First grade teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and Reading Specialist.
