Hi All! I am Kathy Paseur Craig, the Library Media Specialist at both Montview and Chapman Elementary Schools. I became a librarian in 2006 having worked in Madison County, Madison City, and Morgan County Schools previously. I am also currently retired from the retail field in which I spent 24 years before entering into the field of education. I enjoy challenging students to develop a love of reading by exploring different genres, authors, and series and to challenge themselves to reach higher levels and goals within the available reading programs.

I was born in Huntsville but raised on a small farm in Madison County that has been in my family since 1907! I have no children of my own but come from a big family which includes 4 brothers, 9 nieces and nephews, and 26 greats and counting. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, watching sporting events, traveling to different states and countries, and frequenting different restaurants.
