I’m Andrew Haynes. I was born in Huntsville, AL, raised in Fayetteville, TN, and moved back to Huntsville after 9th grade. I have been here since. I love my city and often enjoy its many hiking trails and free events downtown and at Lowe Mill. My 9th grade Honors English teacher, Mrs. Gault, inspired me to become a teacher. She conveyed her passion for the material and care for us through building meaningful connections with her students. She challenged us to never stop learning and taught us you can always keep growing and bettering yourself. I hope I can positively affect my students like she did for me. All students need a teacher that cares and is invested in them; someone that inspires learning.
