Hello! I am really excited to be here at New Century Technology High School. I am in my 25th year of teaching science here in the United States. I say that because I have also taught in Florida, Montana, Alabama and Texas. I will be teaching Chemistry Honors, Chemistry and Biology. However, I will have Pharmacy Tech in the fall and Biology in the spring. I have been married to Barbara Dale for 42 years. I have two grown children in their late 30's and I also have three grandchildren ranging in age between 8 years old, 2 years old and 5 months old with another one on the way in October. I love to play competitive golf and I have been a successful coach in multiple sports for over 30 years. It is my hope that the students will experience great success and they will hunger for more and more as they come to my classroom each and every day.

Experience

I have been teaching for 24 years altogether. This is my second year of teaching in Alabama and my first with Huntsville City Schools. I have taught 6 years in Florida from 1987-1992. I have taught 6 years in Montana and 12 years in Texas. I have taught Life and Earth Science, General Science, Physical Science, Biology, Physical Science and Environmental Science over the years in the various schools. I have taught 6 graders up to Seniors. I have also been a very successful coach with playoff runs in multiple sports as well as being a Head Coach in three different sports and I have also served as an Athletic Director. I have also taught GED classes and have been published writing two science courses for the State of Florida. It was a program for students that were behind and took these courses after school to get caught up and still be able to graduate on time or as soon as they possibly could.
