Hello! My name is Janelle Cameron. I just got married this summer (June 25, 2022) to my wonderful husband Zac, so when you see "Haupt" as my last name, it's my maiden name. Cats are my absolute favorite animal. I have one cat named Georgia. I love to start the day with a cup of coffee and finish the day with a couple chapters of a good book. My husband and I always enjoy watching Wheel of Fortune together on week nights.

This is my first year teaching a whole class, but not my first year in a school. I worked as an Americorps member for Reading Partners in Charleston, South Carolina for 2 years before moving to Huntsville. I worked one-on-one with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade to improve their reading skills. I have a passion for reading and I can't wait to pass that on to your students!
