Teaching is all I have ever wanted to do since I was in the 4th grade! Now I teach 4th grade as well as having taught kindergarten. This is my 25th plus year teaching and I am still as inspired as my first year. In 1996. I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. I have a daughter, Kenedee LaKaye and a Shih Tzu, TeddeRush. In my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, traveling, going to the movies, shopping, and sipping on Starbucks. One of my favorite quotes about teaching is “Apply your heart to instruction and your ear to words of knowledge.” I am looking forward to another exciting school year with the wonderful Providence Pirates!
