My name is Chris Henriksen. I am the Gifted and Talented Specialist (GATE) here at Sonnie Hereford Elementary. This is my 5th year here at SHES. Go Wildcats! I have lived in Huntsville for the majority of my life. I have been married to my wife Rebekah for 20 years. We have seven children. Emma is 20 years old. Ava is a freshman at Jacksonville State University and is 18 years old. Anna is 16 and a junior at Grissom High School. CJ is a freshman at Grissom High School and he is 15 years old. Ella is 10 years old and in 5th grade at Mt Gap Elementary. Then we have 7 year old twins Isla and Cason who are in 1st grade at Mt. Gap Elementary this year. We are very active members of our church and enjoy playing and watching lots of sports and outdoor activities. We especially enjoy going to the beach. I am a huge Auburn fan and love college football. War Eagle!
