I'm Ms. LaVonda Grant. I am very excited and grateful to serve the community as Assistant Principal of Sonnie Hereford Elementary! I'm a Lowndes County native and proud graduate of Central High School. I  moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2004 after graduating from Tuskegee University. I love the opportunities and advancements of the "Rocket City" and enjoy living here. I have been employed with HCS since 2005. It is my chief ambition to serve and help others through motivation and to build others to ensure our students learn.

A bit about me... I love to travel, dance, swim, and read! You can also catch me attending sports events, concerts, and comedy shows. I also love spending quality time with my family and friends.
