I'm Ms. LaVonda Grant. I am very excited and grateful to serve the community as Assistant Principal of Morris Elementary! I'm a Lowndes County native and proud graduate of Central High School. I moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2004 after graduating from Tuskegee University. I love the opportunities and advancements of the "Rocket City" and enjoy living here. I have been employed with HCS since 2005. It is my chief ambition to serve and help others through motivation and to build others to ensure our students learn.

A bit about me... I love to travel, dance, bake, and read! I'm an outdoor type of person who likes gardening, camping, and swimming. You can also catch me attending sports events, concerts, and comedy shows. I also love spending quality time with my family, friends, and my dog.
