I am very excited to be a part of the 5th-grade team at Sonnie Hereford Elementary. I know that it is going to be a great year. I am originally from Miami, Florida, the home of white sandy beaches and tropical weather. However, while attending school in this fabulous city, I fell in love with Huntsville, the people, and its community.

This is my eighteenth year teaching. I taught college freshmen for three years, grades 5-8 for ten years, and grades eleven and twelve for five years. I am passionate about my career. I believe that it is my mission, not just my job. My philosophy is that all students can learn and achieve academic excellence. It just takes teamwork!
