I am a native of Huntsville. Growing up, I attended schools in the Huntsville City School district. I am happily married. Together my husband and I have two daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson. We enjoy spending time as a family. My hobbies include reading, cooking, and bargain shopping. I love teaching 2nd grade!

After college I taught pre-school (Head Start) for two years. I began working for HCS in 1996 as an Instructional Assistant in 1st and 3rd grade classrooms at Hampton Cove Elementary. I have been at Whitesburg teaching since 1997. I taught 3rd grade for 20 years. I am currently teaching 2nd grade!
