I earned my B.S from the University of Southern Mississippi with concentrations in Reading and Science. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but have had the pleasure to experience living in several states in my life. I have been married for 23 years and have three wonderful sons. We are happy to make Alabama our home.

This is my 14th year in the teaching profession and my eleventh year at Whitesburg. I have taught three years of 3rd grade (Tucson, AZ), one year of 6th grade (Whitesburg P-8), 10 years teaching 5th grade at Whitesburg, and this will be my first-year teaching fourth grade. This is my seventh year as the Elementary Greenpower Coach at Whitesburg.
