I am originally from Chicago, and the youngest of nine kids. I am the "crazy aunt" to 21 nieces and nephews, and in my spare time I love to solo travel and go to concerts. I also coach an under 12 Miracle League t-ball team (Go Storm!). I was inspired to go into special education because of my nephew, Connor, who has Cerebral Palsy. I help raise Connor and his brother Harry, and have been on both sides of the table at IEP meetings. I truly believe all students can achieve great things.

Education

I am a graduate of Athens State and hold both an elementary education anda collaborative education K-6 certificate. I will graduate with a Masters in Differentiated Instruction in December and will be pursuing a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification as well as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification.
