I am Chanada Pettway and I am very excited about beginning my 5th year at Whitesburg Middle School. I teach 6th grade Reading and English. I believe that all children can learn and my task is to help equip them with the tools necessary to succeed. In my spare time I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with my family. I am the proud mom of four children, two girls and two boys. Go Lions!

I am a graduate of Alabama A&M University and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

I am ALSDE certified in Elementary Education, Grades K-6.
