I have been a part of the Academy family for more than a decade. Both my children have attended the Academy. Before taking the leap into the classroom, I worked at AAA as an Art Interventionist. I utilized art to help children regulate and deal with their struggles in the classroom.
After spending several years as a substitute, I decided to go back to school and get my certification.

I have a bachelor's from the University of Alabama in journalism and English. I am also an artist and photographer and love sharing those things with the kids. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to teach this group of kiddos!
