Tyrone Jones
I am a proud husband of twenty-six years (and counting) and a proud father of three young adults. As our youngest daughter prepares for her senior year at UAB, my wife and I are quasi-empty nesters making Huntsville the site of our new adventure.
I see my role as a principal in terms of three distinct responsibilities. My first responsibility is to challenge every member of our school community to define what excellence means to us, to work together to reach it, and then to surpass it. My second responsibility is to support our students, faculty, staff, families, and stakeholders with the resources and systems they need to meet their challenges. Finally, it is my responsibility and pleasure to advocate for our school, our program, and our students so that they have the backing of
an ever-expanding circle of allies.
