Hello students, parents, and guardians!

I am excited to be your new music teacher!   During class we will have a lot of fun singing, dancing, and playing instruments, while at the same time learning to read music, as well as connecting to math, reading, social studies, and history.  We will also throw in a few performances along the way

My hobbies include directing and playing flute/piccolo/trombone in the Scottsboro Community Band, playing flute and singing in my church praise band, playing the flute in both The Twickenham Winds and the Living Christmas Tree of Huntsville, walking my two Yorkies, and caring for my husband of 28 years, and 16 year old son, who is a percussionist in marching band, and has just earned his driver’s license.
