Amanda Couey

Hello everyone! My name is Mandy Couey, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach at this school! I have only been teaching for the past few years, but before that I was a stay-at-home mom for my two wonderful children, Abbey and Bryant. My daughter, Abbey is starting her senior year at the University of Alabama with her elementary education degree and My son Bryant is also finishing up his high school career.

This past March, I got married to my wonderful husband, Byron, who blessed me with two wonderful step-kids Andrew and Brooke. I love my family and especially love the time we get to spend together. I also love to cook all types of food and bake all kinds of goodies. And one of my favorite pastimes is watching sports, especially Alabama football if you can’t tell from my son’s name. I hope that I can help my students succeed in my class and gain confidence in their own learning. I am looking forward to a great year! Eagle Up!!!
