I am a writer, teacher, and mother to two children.  My love of literature and the English language began as a student in the Huntsville City School system, and continued through both my undergraduate and graduate studies.  I have a BA in English Literature and minor in German from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. and a Masters in Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin.  I love the outdoors and am happy to call the Tennessee Valley home again after 25 years of life, education, teaching and working that took me to other parts of the country and world.
