Sherita Joiner has worked in education for over 24 years. 
She is known to be a very visible Principal at Challenger Elementary  School. Sherita believes that every child can learn but each one learns  differently and at their own pace. Her goal is to create a supportive  environment that is conducive to both teaching and learning. Ms. Joiner is  a firm believer in maintaining a positive atmosphere, keeping lines of  communication open, and teamwork. Her motto is "Stay positive, maintain  communication, and always remember to do what is right!"

Sherita is a native of Huntsville and a graduate of Huntsville City  Schools. She is a mother of two sons, Christopher and Mikel.
