My name is Abby Cersosimo (ser-só-see-mo), or Mrs. C, and I am so excited to be part of the Grissom family. As a Huntsville native, I am honored to be giving back to the community by cultivating and nurturing the academic minds of future world- changers!

I live with my three loves -- my husband (a Buenos Aires native) and our two cats, Oliver and Oakley! In my free time I love to read, write, cook, play video games, and listen to music.

After graduating from Buckhorn High School is 2017, I attended Auburn from 2017-2021. During that time, I was an active member of the AUDL in the AUMB. I was also partnered with the CDC in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences where I studied parasites in lemurs and feral island cats. Lastly, I also served as a writing consultant for the Miller Writing Center. When I moved back to Huntsville in 2021, I began working as a percussion instructor and began the pursuit towards my master's in education (secondary ELA).
