Kenee Daffin
Hola, My name is Kenee’ Daffin and I will be teaching science at Mae Jemison High School. I am coming to you guys from Perry county. My family is from Selma/Uniontown AL. I attended Selma High (Home of the Saints) but I graduated from the Alabama School of Math and Science (ASMS) down in Mobile, AL.
This is my 9th/10th year teaching secondary science. I am Head-coach of the JV Volleyball team at the school as well. Outside of school, I have partnerships with groups to help promote black boys and girls in the field of science particularly, technology and robotics.
I value those relationships that I have built with my students and their parents, those that are still enrolled and those that have graduated.
Although my time is short with them compared to life long endeavors, Parents I thank you and appreciate you for allowing me to be apart of their lives. To my students, I also want to thank you for just being the best person you can be and allowing me to be apart of a very important process.
