Hello,  my name is Davida Petty. I grew up in Birmingham, AL and have lived in Huntsville since 2001.  I met my husband here and we have a wonderful daughter.    I love the students here at Lakewood and love being a part of their lives.

Before I started teaching, I worked in the laboratory in biotechnology for years and I substituted for 3 years with Huntsville City Schools. I began working at Lakewood in the 2022-2023 school year.
