Shirley Jones

Greetings, Lakewood Lions!

I am Shirley Travis Jones, a native of Aliceville, Alabama, and a proud
alum of the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. GO BULLDOGS!!!
I am Lakewood’s Math Coach. I will be collaborating with teachers and
assisting students to improve the school’s math performance. I love attending sporting events, teaching, and spending time with my family. I am married and have three wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren.
I am a firm believer that all children are capable of learning if provided with the proper environment and expectations. I look forward to inspiring, engaging, and empowering Lakewood’s students to become active citizens and life-long learners.
