Visual Arts
The Lee Visual Art Magnet Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and unique visual art experience. Our goal is to inspire students to be lifelong advocates of the arts. Students learn to creatively problem solve while developing a strong work ethic. The program has an emphasis on art production to help students develop a strong portfolio that is a representation of their personal aesthetic. Art production is supported with a thorough investigation of art history and practice in art criticism. All classes are taught by professional artists who are actively involved in art community. Students will experience small classes and a variety of art techniques. The incorporation of guest speakers and educational field trips help to feed students’ creativity.
