I am a proud mother of 2 incredible children who currently serve in the military and a dog mom to 3. I have a passion for animal rescue, and I hope to one day have my own rescue shelter. I enjoy working out, traveling, and spending time with friends and loved ones. I am  training to complete my first 5k without any walking breaks. I teach first grade because it fits my personality and allows me to show my silly and creative side. I want my classroom to be a place where students truly enjoy learning and understand that education is not boring.
