My name is Shelby Coates, and I have been teaching Pre-K at McDonnell Elementary since 2013. I LOVE teaching the youngest members of the hive, helping them develop the social and emotional skills they need to be Kindergarten Ready! The students in my classroom are S.T.A.R.S: Special, Talented, Amazing, Responsible Students.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and son, crafting, and sitting down with a cup of coffee or tea and a good book!
