Taunya Smith
I am a native of Huntsville, where I attended Ridgecrest Elementary, Huntsville Middle School, and graduated from J.O. Johnson High School. I later followed my passion for education by graduating from Alabama A&M University with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. In an effort to increase my knowledge in instructional leadership, I completed a Master of Science degree and later an Educational Specialist degree at Samford University. Currently, I am a Samford Doctoral Candidate for graduation in December 2024. I am thrilled to be the principal of Morris Elementary, and I look forward to continuing a partnership with this wonderful community.
