I am Cher Jensen and I have lived in Huntsville for 14 years. I have taught Spanish language for six years with Huntsville City Schools. This is my first-year teaching at Mountain Gap Middle School. I love to read, and I promote reading in my classrooms. I am an artist with decades of experience as a professional painter in all media. I am an equestrian and own horses. I travel all over the USA and the world learning  about people and their cultures.

In addition to English and Spanish, I also speak Portuguese and tutor in both Spanish and Portuguese. I am currently learning Italian and French.  I  study so many languages so that I can enjoy music, literature, poetry, and others beautiful arts in those languages.
