As native Texan, I am proud of my Texas roots. I am also honored to be a 5th generation educator with over 18 years of experience in public education. I have been fortunate to serve in the Huntsville City School system since 2007.

During my educational career, I have served in the following capacities:

• Middle School Assistant Principal, Houston, Texas
• Middle School Math Teacher - Texas

Beyond my work as an educator, I am most proud of my role as a wife and mother. I am married to my wonderful husband of almost 16 years, Robert Bardwell. We have two beautiful children: Candace (10) and Alyssa (7).
