Joshua Vaughn
I am a native of south Alabama, where I previously taught Advanced Placement United States History (APUSH) and 11th grade US History II. Now in my second year of teaching, I strive to foster a love for learning and a deep understanding of history in my students. I am committed to continuous improvement and professional development, always seeking new strategies and technologies to enhance my teaching. I believe in the power of education to transform lives and am dedicated to helping my students achieve their full potential.
My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every student has the potential to succeed. I aim to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages growth and exploration. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, watching sports, and spending time with my family. These interests often find their way into my teaching, making lessons more relatable and dynamic.
I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year at The Gap!
