Hello students and families! My name is Lannie Hisashima and I am originally from the Island of Maui, Hawaii. Growing up, I was blessed with amazing teachers who inspired me to go into education, and I am so happy to have made that decision! My mom, who was a teacher for decades, was my biggest role model and supporter in teaching. Unfortunately she's no longer here to witness my first few years of teaching, but I still have so many loved ones to cheer me on such as my dad, my two older sisters, my boyfriend, and my doggy best friend back home on Maui. Aside from teaching, some of my interests include music, tennis/pickleball, and creative writing. I'm so excited to continue building my craft in such a fantastic community of educators!
