Hello! My name is Mrs. Latoya Wilson, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as a new Providence Pirate! This past summer, my family and I made the big move to Huntsville, Alabama. My husband and our three wonderful children are excited to call this place home, along with our beloved chocolate labradoodle. With 20 years of experience as an elementary/middle school teacher under my belt, I have had the privilege of impacting the lives of many students across various grades in Ohio and Northern Virginia. In addition to my teaching career, I am proud to be a published  author of a children’s book titled "The Teacher Monster Club." Throughout my two decades in education, I’ve been dedicated to creating creative and safe classroom environments while fostering strong, positive relationships with my students, their families, and my fellow colleagues. I firmly believe in the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child," and I’m excited to embrace Huntsville as my new village.
