I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Kentucky for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.  I began my teaching  career in Lexington, Kentucky when I met my husband who was Active Duty Army.  We have lived in several different states in the country and even spent time living in South Korea and England.  I love to travel and learn about new places and different cultures all over world!  I also enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my husband, son and daughter as well as our dog. I am excited to be a part of Huntsville City Schools as a Literacy Specialist.
