HELLO! My name is Tanya Wesley and I am blessed to be teaching at Williams Elementary School. I was born and raised in South Florida before moving to Alabama when I was 13, and I’ve been here ever since. I have one son, Austin, who recently turned 22, and is currently attending flight school to earn his pilot’s license. We love our sports, especially football, basketball, and hockey, and attend as many games as possible each year. In my free time, I love to read and write, especially on a cool Fall night on my back patio!! I also enjoy working on various craft projects, whether it is refurbishing something old or creating something new.

Before starting my degree in education, I received a duel certification in Graphic Design and Computer Imaging. After working in the field for a year, I decided to go back to school and pursue my love of teaching. I graduated in 2009 with my degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I taught second grade for one year before moving to Pre-K, where I worked for four years. This is my ninth year teaching 3rd grade here at Williams Elementary, and feel blessed to be a part of an amazing school and team!!
