The Federal Programs Department is responsible for the administration of various federal and state funded programs.  The funding, in most cases, is provided to the Local Educational Agency (LEA) to supplement those activities and programs already in place within the Huntsville City Schools System.

Project Climb is a two-week summer literacy program from June17-27, Monday through Thursday from 8AM-1PM, for students who speak a language other than English. Any EL student who is currently in grade 2 is invited. The focus on Project Climb is to give students a ladder to 3rd grade through vocabulary development and native language support.
