A Visit From Short the Squirrel

It's Read Across America week! As ASFL celebrates literacy with different activities and themes each day, an early highlight for our younger learners has been a visit from Short the Squirrel. Short is the Alabama Literacy Mascot. He came to visit and share the story of his super power with our students; reading! After hearing his story, students were treated to a comic coloring book to take home. Thanks for the visit Short!
