Academy for Science & Foreign Language Elementary School

For the 1st time this year, our school participated in the the Kid's Heart Challenge for the American Heart Association. Sponsored by Coach Ward, students were challenged to raise money to be donated to the organization. They won prizes along the way, with the biggest prize for those who raised over $150. They got to pie our campus security officer, Mr. Bush! There were five students to reach that goal: Antonio T., Khloe A., Connor B., and Jamari B. As a whole, we more than doubled our goal of $1000 and raised $2,115.51! Thank you to all of the families that participated, and thank you Mr. Bush for being such a great sport!
