Dear Parent or Guardian,
Your child is attending a school that receives Title I funding. Title I, Part A, is a federal program that provides additional instructional services and activities. These additional supports help students in meeting the challenging state academic standards and closing the educational opportunity gap.
Students who attend schools that receive Title I funding may receive extra academic support via teachers and interventionists who specialize in small group instruction focusing on literacy, mathematics, and behavior. If needed, supplementary intervention services will be provided for students identified through multiple assessments. In addition, Title I funds help support a school-based Parent Involvement Coordinator and Parent and Family Engagement events such as Reading and Math Events!
As a school that receives Title I funding, we are expected to comply with the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).
