Greetings Bulls,

Does it matter if your child misses 2 school days per month? Yes! Research shows that missing 10% of the school year, or about 18 days in a year, negatively affects a student’s academic performance. That’s just 2 days a month!  That’s known as chronic absence. We need and want our students here!

We understand that occasionally your child will be sick or miss school.  Please email Ms. Chambers with the reason so we can submit it to be considered as an excused absence. Each year, parents may submit up to eight notes/emails requesting a student's absence to be excused and unlimited doctors’ notes. Thanks for actively helping us teach your child by having him/her at school and by keeping his/her attendance record accurate by contacting Ms. Chambers in the event of an absence.

Go Bulls!
