Our annual standardized testing (ACAP) for grades 2-6 will begin in this week. Please help by insuring that your child gets a good night's rest and arrives on time for the days they are scheduled to test. Please do not schedule a doctor or dentist appointments on those days. Thanks again for your help with encouraging our boys and girls to do their best! If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Congratulations to our 2023-2024 Greenpower Team on their first competition last Saturday at Hazel Green High School! We set some new personal driving records, and we are primed to do well at the Huntsville City Schools Greenpower Race on Friday, April 12 at Milton Frank Stadium. Come out and join us!
Kite Day 2024
Kite Day 2024 was certainly worth the wait of rescheduling twice due to rain! Thanks to all of the parents that were able to come out and enjoy it with us, and thank you to our PTA and D.O.G.S. Dads that volunteered that day as well. It was a great day filled with sunshine and just enough wind!
Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year is Now Open
Please register for the upcoming school year as a new student or returning student by visiting the HCS enrollment page.
If you live in the same residence, as the previous year, you will only need to provide a Utility Bill for that particular residence. Please make sure that the uploaded picture clearly shows your name, address, a date within the last 30 days.
If you have moved, you will need to provide 2 Proofs of Residency. Please upload the Utility Bill as stated above and a copy of your new lease, deed, mortgage, or rental agreement showing your name, address, date, and signature.
Note: Uploading the Proof of Residency is very important! This will ensure that your student's enrollment & Registration is complete.
Also note: while completing your student's registration, please make note of the portion including contacts. Make sure that the contacts that you desire to add, match what is asked of you. Additional Custodial Contacts would include Mother, Father, or Legal Guardian. Additional Contacts would be the area to add a simple authorization for pick up, emergency contact, etc.
