On Friday, April 28th PTA hosted their first annual Eagle Run here at Chaffee. A goal was set to raise 10,000 dollars with a prize of getting a Gaga Pit for the Chaffee students. During P.E times students were allowed to participate in different obstacle courses along with run laps on the track. Volunteers had an amazing time applying colored powered to our runners which created a beautiful view for all of those that were a witness. At the end of our Eagle run PTA President, Julie Morrow, announced that we reached 125% of our goal with a total that amounted to over 12,000 dollars. As promised, our top fundraisers were able to pie Principal Clark at our Eagle Run assembly on the track. We thank all of our supporters and volunteers for such an amazing turnout and look forward to do this again next year !
