War Eagle VIII Visits Chaffee

On Friday, February 10th, our students at Chaffee learned about the education, rehabilitation, and conservation efforts of the Southeastern Raptor Center, a division of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Students were both engaged and focused on all of our raptor visitors. We especially loved when we were granted the opportunity to see the Golden Eagle that was held by former Chaffee student, Tess Lindow.

A big thank you to Ms. Northcutt for helping to bring this event to Chaffee and to the family of 5th grader, Hattie Thomas, for covering the expense of the event. We love when our students get to experience something new and exciting! It was a great day at Chaffee !
