Greetings Chaffee Families,
It's the final week before holiday break, and we have so much fun planned! Friday is a half day with students being dismissed at 11:30. Buses will still run, and breakfast and lunch will be provided at school. It will be fun half day for our students with Carols in the Cafeteria and Pajama Day!
11 Days of Wonder (continued)
- December 11th: Flannel/Plaid Day
- December 12th: Winter Wonderland (wear blue and white)
- December 13th: Elf Day (dress up as an elf/wear elf accessories)
- December 14th: Ugly Sweater Day
- December 15th: Pajama Day/Holiday Attire with Carols in the Cafeteria
Our Holiday Parties will be held Thursday, December 14 at the following times:
- PreK, 1st grade, and 5th grade: 12:30-1:15pm
- Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade: 1:15-2:00pm
You are welcome to join your child for his/her party, but we ask that siblings not attend. Thank you for understanding and for honoring this request.
Lost & Found is full!! Please remind your child(ren) to go by and collect their missing items before everything is donated on December 15!
You can purchase your child's yearbook. You can order online or send your order to school using the order form send home in Wednesday Folders. Yearbook Purchasing Website
We have five school days before holiday break, and we need students at school unless they are sick. You are welcome to reach out to Nurse Julie if you are ever in doubt about your child’s symptoms. Every school day is full of learning that cannot be replicated outside of school, and we don’t want our students to fall behind. Thank you for showing your child that excellent school attendance is a priority.

Hello Golden Eagles! It's Coach B. Last month, we completed fitness testing. I am proud of all the hard work students put into testing! This month, we will do parachute activities, holiday stations, and reindeer capturing!
