Greetings Chaffee Families,

February is Black History Month, with fun learning activities planned throughout the month. This Friday our students will attend a Black History Month program during the school day with guest speaker, Superintendent Clarence Sutton. We’re also looking forward to the 4th grade wax museum this month!

Registration for the 2024-25 school year is now open. An email with directions was sent from the district to the primary email address on file for each student. Please complete registration as soon as possible so that we can plan for next year. Please encourage your friends to register as soon as possible. You can reach out to Ms. Cothren or Ms. Saylor with any questions.

Please save the date for our next spirit night, which will be on Thursday, February 29, at Flow Trampoline Park. This Spirit Night will be in conjunction with our Title I Parent Focus Night, Leap Into Learning. See the flyer below for more details.

What's Up in P.E this February

Hello, Golden Eagles ! It's Coach B. I am so excited to give you an update on what your children have been learning in P.E. during the month of January. Kindergarten and first grade students worked on locomotor skills while second through fifth grade students played floor hockey.

In February we will be jumping rope and learning dances for the Decades Bash! Feel free to encourage your children to practice at home!
