Greetings Chaffee Families,
We had a wonderful week at Chaffee! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many families at our Fall Open House on Tuesday. Our students were so excited to have you join us at school to learn more about what they are doing and learning in their classroom.
On Thursday we kicked off our Eagle Run Fall Fundraiser! Please check your child's folder or backpack for the forms sent home. Our goal is for every student to raise $50 during this fundraiser. The money raised will directly benefit our students!
On Wednesday students will bring home their Progress Report. Students in grades 3-5 will also bring home their Spring 2024 ACAP Reports. Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions.
Currently our daily attendance is around 97%! That’s awesome! Let’s keep making attendance a priority for our students. This month is Attendance Awareness Month! Please remember how important it is to get your child(ren) to school every day and on time. We know from research that attendance in school is extremely important to every child’s success and is strongly associated with academic, behavioral, and social success. Chronic absenteeism is defined as missing 18 or more days of school for any reason- including excused and unexcused absences. We need your support by having your child attend school every day possible. If your child is ill and must be out, please send in a doctor or parent excuse within two days of returning to school. We appreciate your help with this! We love your kiddos, and we want to see them daily!
