The students in Mr. Smith's Biology class conducted a lab on human cheek cells. The students explored human cheek cells under the microscope, examined cell structures, measured the size of them, and calculated the volume of the cells.
The lab provided the students the opportunity to view living cells and identify the parts of a cell that they have only seen in diagrams up to the point.
The students gained a great deal of knowledge and understanding on the topic.
