Columbia's CSI Team Investigates A Crime Scene

Coach Lou Allen's Forensic Science students are applying what they learned about searching a crime scene.

The students learned that the grid method search pattern is one of the most efficient and thorough crime scene techniques. This method is best used in large crime scenes such as fields or woods.

Students used a grid search to find, photograph, sketch and collect evidence.

The photos show our team of Columbia CSI's investigating a crime.

The students felt the hands-on experience improved their cognitive understanding and enhanced their teamwork skills.
