The Eagle Battalion attended the Annual Redstone Arsenal Sergeant Majors Association Leadership Award Dinner. Command Sergeant Major (R) Gary L. Littrell, was the Medal of Honor Recipient.
This award is presented for demonstration of superior leadership qualities while serving as a key leader in a High School JROTC Program, during the current school year. The student must be a leader of good Character and Competence who Acts to Achieve Excellence.
Columbia High School recipient for this year is C/CPT Jessica La. C/CPT Jessica La is the current Alpha Company Commander and has been selected as the next Battalion Commander for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
