Congratulations to our band students! The band earned two awards at the World Strides Atlanta Heritage Festival: 1st Place Concert Band with a Silver Distinction, meaning they were the highest scoring concert band to perform and they earned the Outstanding Band Award, which goes to the highest scoring instrumental ensemble.
There were marching, concert, and jazz bands from all over the world at this event.
The awards will be kept in the main office for all to see.
