Clay Hinchman,  Army Infantry and former Congressional Candidate AL-5 / Entrepreneur came  to speak with our special needs students to discuss his background and how disabilities are just bumps in the road and can be overcome.

Mr. Hinchman medically retired as a Captain due to the wounds sustained during an improvised explosive attack while conducting a night raid in Iraq as part of a Special Operations Task Force.

After serving in the military, Clayton worked for the Joint IED Defeat Organization and with various non-profit organizations in Washington, DC. He founded USi (acquired in 2016 by Ignite) and is now the Chief Marketing Officer of Ignite. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, received his Masters from Georgetown University, and continuing Executive Education at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.

The kids were very respectful and learned valuable lessons from Mr. Hinchman.
